    Overview

Wi-Sun IoT gateway for smart street lights in smart cities
C-LUX Wi-sun gateway is a new type of controller developed based on Wi-sun (Wireless Smart Utility Network) protocol to meet the market demand, which is an important part of the smart city control system, and it is used to connect the Wi-sun street lighting controller and the bridge to the Internet and communicate with C-LUX smart street lighting central management system through 4G/TCP/IP/WiFi. It communicates with C-LUX smart street lighting central management system.
The gateway has a built-in main chip of concentrator, which can provide multi-channel parallel uplink and channel downlink communication, and adopts a low-power consumption and high-reliability core processor to provide a highly efficient and reliable operating environment for the gateway communication. The gateway has full-duplex data forwarding capability, which can meet the networking needs of terminal devices characterized by high communication distance, low power consumption, and a large number of access points, and supports various styles of deployment.
It is the key node equipment for building low-power wide area network, industrial-grade communication equipment that supports working in various harsh environments and the way is not affected by weather and terrain, stable transmission, saving a lot of wires and cables and materials, and also ensures the reliability of the communication. The product has the advantages of being powerful, easy to implement, free of cabling, reliable, easy to maintain, etc., and it is widely used in different scenarios of the smart city, such as the access of diversified terminals in smart street lights.
The gateway supports mesh network topology. Terminal devices upload data to the gateway through RF signals, and the gateway uploads information from terminals into the server and CMS through 4G or Ethernet. That makes the communication range more extensive and make deployment of repeaters in the solution can be greatly reduced. Therefore, Wi-Sun IoT solution is being more cost-effective and simpler to deploy in smart street lighting and smart cities.
